What function do you have and what does your job mean?
As "Forwarder International" I am responsible the Expedition department of Ryano, better known as Ryano Projects. Within this department we deal with a wide range of international transports; from turnkey event logistics, OOG, heavy lift and/or Breakbulk cargo. We use air, sea and road transport to offer a suitable solution to our customer for their transport request.
How long do you work at Ryano?
I have been working for Ryano for three years now.
What do you like most about your profession?

We bring power to the most remote or impossible locations.
We transport exceptionally large or heavy items all over the world.
We provide turn-key service for major events such as the Olympic games, World Cup Football and Cirque du Soleil. Providing a solution for these, sometimes very complex, logistical issues, taking care of the transport and especially the successful completion of this always gives a lot of satisfaction.
What is the challenge in your work?
Every transport is different. Coming up with the best possible solution, taking into account local laws and regulations, transport restrictions, deadlines and the wishes of the customer is always a challenge. If things don’t go as planned, quick action or creative solutions are required. This means that every day is different.
